    Growing your business

Cold emailing is one of the best ways to get initial traction once you’ve validated the need for your solution. But cold emailing involves more than just throwing together a quick email and sending it. Matthew Bellows writes about the art (and science) involved in cold emailing and explains the different approaches you could take–from subject lines, to the content of the email, to the frequency of following up. 4 Winning Approaches for Writing a Cold Email.

    Useful tools

One way to cut through the noise with a cold email is using an animation. If a picture speaks a thousand words, then an animated gif can speak several thousand. You can find plenty of funny gifs online using giphy.com, but if you want to create your own gif (say, for a demo of a product, or an animated ‘how it works’ explanation, you can use Giphy’s Slideshow GIF Creator to make an engaging animation to include in your email.
